Raffle

The 2013 National is only 5 months away and each year we ask all of our clubs for their support by making a donation for the raffle. 

Michigamme English Setter Club is Chairing the raffle this year and are asking all clubs to please make a cash donation or bring a basket to raffle with goodies or items that represent your state or are unique to your club area. Each year we look forward to the club baskets and their special treasures to entice ESAA members to participate in the raffle by purchasing tickets for a chance to win. We are once again going back to the Chinese raffle and are hoping your club will consider a cash donation or a basket to add to the success of the 2013 National. In addition if you could please ask your members to donate cash or items to the raffle it would be great as well.

Announcing the new venue for October 2013

ESAA and the Buckeye English Setter Club are very pleased to announce that we have moved the 2103 English Setter National to a wonderful new venue!

• ESAA National Specialty:  October 16-18, 2013 
• ESAA Hunt Test: October 14
• ESAA Rally/Obedience: October 15
• Buckeye ESC Host Specialty:  October 19-20

• Room choices:  2 double beds or 1 king size

We are very pleased with this new venue. There are plenty of fun things to do including:

• charter fishing trips 
• several wineries nearby and tours are available 
• clay pigeon shooting 
• Cedar Point an award-winning amusement park is just 8 miles away
• Golf course

ESAA and Buckeye (the Buckeye team consists of Brenda Fisher, Cheryl Heithaus, and Sandy Miller) have worked very hard to be sure that we have found a very exciting place to hold this year's National. We know that several other all-breed parent clubs have held their Nationals here. We are hoping that you get right on this and make your reservations to attend. Breaking News! Host Hotel is changing

We got some news that the planned host hotel will be changing locations for the 2013 ESAA National.  The new location will still be in Ohio  - on the same dates - and will be of an equal or better quality than the original hotel.  Stay tuned for details.

Please cancel any reservations you have made at the original hotel. Information about the new hotel will be posted here as soon as it is secured.
