Agility Update

Due to circumstances beyond the control of KMESC, we've unfortunately had to cancel agility at the ESAA National. But there is an all-breed agility event on October 22 -23 in Oshkosh, WI:

Photo Contest! Deadline extended to Oct 5th - Don't miss out!

Announcing…

…a special Photo Contest to be held at the 2011 ESAA National Specialty, sponsored by our host club, the Kettle Moraine English Setter Club.

The CONTEST RULES are as follows:

• All photos submitted for the contest must have been taken by a current ESAA member, but the photo may have been taken at any time in the past. Amateur photographers only, please.

• There is no limit to number of entries each member can make, but there is a $3 entry fee required for each photo submitted. Four placements will be made and prizes awarded to first place winners in each category.

• We are also offering a special Peoples’ Choice Award. Ballots will be available at the photo contest display site in the hotel. Only one vote per person please.

• All prints submitted must have an image size of 5 x 7 or 8 x 10 inches and contain at least one English Setter in the photo. (Just a note here--formal show photos look great on your walls--that’s where they should stay for this contest, please.)

Categories for competition are as follows:

1. Action!
2. Family Matters
3. Ready for My Closeup
4. Just Chillin’
5. Special Effects

Name, address and designated category of entry must be labeled on the back of each photo to be considered. While every effort will be made to return all photos, please DO NOT send irreplaceable prints. We cannot guarantee their safe return.

Please make checks out to “KMESC ”, with “photo contest” written on the memo line. All entries, postmarked no later than September 15, 2011, new closing date October 5th, 2011 should be mailed to:

Judging will be conducted by an appointed panel of three (non-ESAA member) judges. All submitted photos will be placed on display at the Olympia Resort during the National.
